“Nitpicking checks”. The Sun doesn’t understand anything.

Compare and contrast…
Reporting on the Brexit reset from the FT and the Sun…
A grown up v an absolute child.
Analysis v a pathetic strop.
Facts v name-calling nonsense.

“£17bn economic boost to UK GDP” v “lifting a few nitpicking checks”

Embarrassing petulance.

holding space for simultaneously loving ootremake and relentlessly nitpicking it. The two wolves in me

Not really. Just autistic nitpicking 😂

Wow - the bullshit reasons to toss these provisional ballots are infuriating. It’s disenfranchising people for no good reason. Pointless nitpicking proceduralism that conservatives otherwise claim to be against.

Okay being read them by a teenage slave, this is nitpicking just like with people who say audiobooks don’t count

I hear a lot of “refusal is privileged/out of touch” and undermining refusal as a movement by nitpicking anyone/everyone’s reasons for or language of refusal. They aren’t good arguments but they have the momentum of the industry behind them

Hi Guys!
We can spend a day just being happy about it if we want. I’m not nitpicking until probably Monday.

I’m aware this seems like minor nitpicking which feels so small compared to more explicit forms of genocidal complicity but frankly, it IS the small stuff that keeps the wheels of genocide going.

Play on "nitpicking," basically picking out the nuttiest voices in a group, often used derogatorily to refer to a poor form of argument by painting those nutty voices as representative.

the conversations ive seen some people have w trans people upset about this or Turek on the site this week has been insanely out of pocket. like nitpicking criticizing Turek bc a Hyde amendment wouldn't use force to detransition people.

Nitpicking some more: Digits can repeat, so it need not even be a permutation. #mathsky

Ask lorry drivers about "a few nitpicking checks".

I'll say anecdotally on this that I've seen some colleagues really turn around with reading for ideas rather than grammar nitpicking over the past few years, and one in particular has been a fantastic comrade in pushing for authentic student work 💗

It IS possible to unlearn bad and unjust habits!

It's especially nice since most online content is whining or nitpicking the thing we love. I do it too.

I fault them more for missing LA than FL, but I think either one is nitpicking.

*looks at the local state rep going republican, glaring at neighbors * really? I mean everything else was a clean sweep so it's nitpicking but c'mon xD

it feels insane to remember how transmisogynistic some otherwise progressive communities were and it just manifests in all sorts of ways where it feels like nitpicking or weird to point out some of the ways it demonstrated itself

They will do what they have the political power to do, and endlessly whining and nitpicking them even before they take office will shrink that power faster than you can type up another concern trolly post about them being insufficiently mirroring of your feelings.

Enjoy the victory for a couple of days, instead of nitpicking everything to death immediately after the election.

Likewise. There were a few places where the animation felt more "mechanical", less loose. A couple of other odd details: the size of the bee workers was inconsistent and one odd jump cut in the atelier. It's nitpicking, I know.
Sylvain Chomet states today that "AI was never used to create" his film, but acknowledges that "an automated interpolation tool was used to help create in-betweens".

I'd have liked to know if the interpolation tool uses AI......

But this is me nitpicking because you asked us to, so take it with the required grain of salt.
