You can check that your ROMs are safe by looking up the game hash with redump or nointro. Some emulators will do this automatically.

automatic cover art / title correction? I tried letting the EmulationStation agent go at my NoIntro sets and it came back with a pocket full of marbles and the occasional magazine advertisement. it's a manual adjustment world baby.

Right click Darkstone
Properties
In the typing place under Launch Options, type this WITH SPACES.
-nocolorkey -sortbyz -nointro -32bit
It'll get rid of most of the bad graphics

Vimm's *works* but unfortunately is not what i'm looking for lol. I've also been told about edgeemu but neither of those seem to have relatively-current complete, region-agnostic roms nor the NoIntro roms

my guess why is I'm pretty sure I remember there being a tool made specifically for nointro archives like that which auto extracts everything for you and also allows you to remove bad dumps if you don't want them

apparently adding "noprefetch -nointro" to Stalker Enhanced Edition games makes it launch since it's not playing the intro. great stuff. even better? they *still* don't capture the mouse cursor so our dual monitor setup is fucked. love it, even as a free update this feels insulting
