Absolutely DON'T tell anyone that there's a Firefox extension called NoScript that can be used to automatically disable JavaScript. That's forbidden knowledge. That would let you get around paywalls, and we definitely don't want to endorse that.

i think notion is the first website i've come across that's (accidentally, i hope) hostile to noscript users
it has a 0-second meta refresh to a js-disabled page, which means that even if you enable js, you're still stuck on this page and cannot even use the back button

You can do it yourself. Install ublock and noscript extensions, and block all third party cookies.
I've even been blocking all cookies outside a whitelist (which is probably an unreasonable hassle)
If a website breaks because it couldn't load some script, I often decide that I actually didn't care
