This is silly. Noncitizen voting is exceedingly rare, yet the Justice Department is once again attempting to intimidate the states. The Justice Department sent letters to election officials in 50 states and the District of Columbia warning they could face criminal prosecution over noncitizen voting.

Let me be clear: claims of widespread noncitizen voting are false. Incidents of noncitizens actually voting are so rare that when Utah conducted a full investigation, it found none. Zero.

Given the literal definition of deportation is removing a foreigner or noncitizen from the country, we - journalists, media orgs - should probably all stop referring to the ‘deportation’ of a 2 year old US citizen. It’s NOT a deportation.

I’m not sure what it is. A kidnapping?

Studies of voter rolls have found very few noncitizen voters.
As of July 2024, the Heritage Foundation database found only 24 noncitizen voting cases from between 2003 and 2023.
