I definitely use it for nonfandom characters. As far as I’m concerned, it describes really any character that belongs to a single person instead of to a company. When I use it, I *am* usually referring to characters that exist outside of traditionally published works, but not exclusively so.

She summed it the same way I always do when I’m trying to get my nonfandom friends to understand my enthusiasm - “They are so interesting!”
The apple doesn’t far from the tree and also she’s the coolest (the closest thing to fanfiction she’s ever read is those Star Wars novels that are sorta canon)

Do they seem like they'd be willing to go back to being nonfandom friends with you if you found out you didn't share fandom interests? Would you being willing to go back to nonfandom friends if you found out they had annoying fandom opinions?

There was like 5 people in there including us. Felt great except for hearing dudes complain about animation quality. I think mappa and ufotable has done irreparable damage to nonfandom conversations actually. No I won't elaborate

She has a Pinterest board, yet again like Kuri. This'll probably be bumped into a different category someday, but for now- Here.
Mind you, this IS for her nonfandom counterpart, rather than deltarune- but there's not a world of difference.

And I've been wanting to post a bit more about my nonfandom and non ffxiv ocs too? Idk my art is still going to be a lot of ffxiv, since I still feel inspired by it, but I don't want to keep myself in a box for one fandom. if that makes sense

Of course! Something about writing is so scary to share esp in public (i sincerely run and hide when is send my drafts to my nonfandom friend lol) but i love seeing it.
One day i was sitting like 'what scenario would convince me to write it' and uh, everything clicked into place at once.

- A lot of this account is nonfandom but I do talk about media somewhat here

Oh, but if I write something a little ✨spicy✨ suddenly I'm the bad guy and I'm a scary lil proshipper and "ewww!! You watch/make that media ermmm, I gotta make a call out ☝️" and it's like? Dude you realize a variety of people in nonfandom spaces also consume this media and make it, right? (5/6)
