The Quantum Internet Is Getting Closer.
Scientists have demonstrated network nonlocality in a triangular quantum system for the first time. Using independent entangled photon sources, they proved the network exhibits unique properties beyond classical physics or individual connections.

📢 New paper out!

We have found the smallest (and arguably simplest) realization of nonlocality in quantum networks. In fact, this result refutes an 8-year-old conjecture!

The minimal example of quantum network Bell nonlocality
In recent years, the study of Bell nonlocality has been generalized to quantum networks, where multiple independent sources distribute physical systems to distant parties who perform local measurement...

Can Gottesman–Kitaev–Preskill (GKP) encoding turn homodyne detection into a practical tool for revealing Bell nonlocality?

The answer is yes, and in fact GKP states also lead to strong and robust multipartite nonlocality with homodyne detection!

Nonlocality discourse is still sometimes considered new but it goes back to Newton and the 17th century commentaries on the Principia Mathematica by Leibniz, Locke, Hume etc. Science and philosophy have diverged since then, though Einstein was admirably philosophical and took metaphysics seriously

Today I spoke about quantum nonlocality in networks at the "Nonlocality: Driver for Quantum Advantage?" workshop at the @lorentzcenter.bsky.social. After the first day of the workshop, I'm eager to see what the rest of the week brings.

Please, everyone, try to keep an open mind. Nonlocality has been proven in certain experiments.

Classical mechanics may forbid teleportation, but people in the 1800s widely opined that heavier-than-air manned flight was also impossible.

"Could nonlocality, then, be woven into the fabric of the universe .. this extraordinary property lying in the seemingly simple postulate of the identical nature of particles of the same type"

Perhaps there's really only one particle reappearing so the cosmos is like as big as a handful of dust?
Quantum nonlocality may be inherent in the very nature of identical particles
At its deepest physical foundations, the world appears to be nonlocal: particles separated in space behave not as independent quantum systems, but as parts of a single one. Polish physicists have now ...

I read widely, from Neville Goddard and Earl Nightingale to Gregg Braden and Joe Dispenza.
I studied the Bible, the Upanishads, the Vedas, and The Kybalion.
I listened to physicists discuss entanglement and nonlocality.
Slowly, the pieces began to form a pattern.
