Multiple Montgomery Park residents and a senior-advocacy speaker told council on Oct. 6 that long-standing maintenance problems — from missing intercoms and roach infestations to alleged wrongful towing and unrepaired apartments after deaths — continue despite some recent repairs and promises of action.

Residents of Montgomery Park Senior Housing told Norristown council the property has chronic safety and management failures — repeated tows that cost $225, broken intercoms and doors, missing security cameras, elevator outages and unaddressed structural cracks — and asked the municipality to intervene.
