Goodbye Blue Monday #FSprintmonday

I went to #Elmley last week with friends 😁 The #ShortEaredOwls put on a fab display during in the unexpected sunshine! The backdrop is the industrial coast of #NorthKent. @fotospeed.bsky.social @rspb.bsky.social @sheclicksnet.bsky.social @lizhammond.bsky.social
A short-eared owl is lit by low winter sun as it flies over the fields of Elmley Nature Reserve, on the Isle of Sheppey, against a backdrop of blue-toned industrial buildings, including recycling and power plants, on the North Kent coast bordering The Swale estuary. The owl almost seems to glow a deep gold.

Another masterpiece from @AndreaArnold on @MUBI. Begins as grim tale of #poverty & broken families in #NorthKent but segues into astonishing joyful celebration of people on the edge of land and of society. Newcomer #NykiyaAdams shines. #MustSee
