As an artist who has lived under the gun of tight deadlines, I feel your pain.
However: (and this is nothing against YOU) comic companies need to stop soliciting for covers that are not completed by solicit time.
I no longer preorder (or at least hardly do anymore) a cover with a TBD or "NotFinal".
