A man, James Marsters, in a burgundy T-shirt and jeans poses beside a lifelike kangaroo statue in an outdoor public space. The brown kangaroo stands upright in the foreground with large pointed ears, a long tail, and its forearms held below its chest. Behind them is a large colorful mural featuring an enlarged animal, while glass doors or windows on the right reveal several people and buildings outside. The image has a soft, slightly blurred appearance. A man identified as James Marsters stands in the foreground on the open deck of a ferry. He wears a dark jacket, and his face is partly shadowed and cropped near the bottom edge of the image. Metal railings, benches, vertical posts, and ferry equipment surround him. Across the rippling harbor, the white sail-shaped shells of the Sydney Opera House are visible, with high-rise waterfront buildings to the right and a cloudy, bright sky overhead.
