Defenders of the Eastern Slopes - Mountain Appreciation Gathering Monday, May 19th, in Blairmore, Crowsnest Pass. 10 AM - 4 PM. Come anytime. A peaceful gathering in defence and solidarity with the living beings of the Eastern Slopes. Allies, friends, and land defenders are coming from all corners of Southern Alberta (Calgary, Cochrane, Okotoks, Nanton, Clareshome, Fort Macloed, Stand Off, Piikani Nation, Pincher Creek, Crowsnest Pass, Lethbridge, and many places in between and beyond) to show solidarity with the mountains in the face of the corporately captured regulators' (AER) approval of the first step towards the Eastern Slopes final death sentence. We must restore the Eastern Slopes and stop all future degradation.
