I write on Novlr and they just introduced a share mode so maybe that?? Idk Im gonna see what other people are doing
I really dont want files that you have to download to become the norm cause thats just asking for the spread of malware and viruses -_-' ugh

With AO3 currently down, we're living harsh times... I hope it gets back on faster than estimated.

Novlr doesn't count pasted words as part of your word count, which is how I know that even though there was a lot of copying and pasting and rearranging, I also wrote and/or retyped over 1300 words on chapter 20.

So one major benefit of cowriting using Novlr is that it tracks the words I write separately from the words my wife writes when we're sharing a document.
This means when I tell her "you've done the lion's share of the work today" I have the 1396 words vs over 2k words to back it up.

I use Novlr for drafting version one and maybe version two, but then I move to Scrivener for my deep edits.
Also, the fact that Novlr isn't blocked on my work computer is a big plus...
