What's better than listening to music and tossing some #darts?
Wheeled out my old Harrows Caliber I once bought for 23€ and made them a little fancier by painting the grooves black. Points I grinded from hex keys. The 4€ Barflights fit well into that theme. Shall I try them in pink?

Of course I had to swap in the 42mm points just to have done it and this was literally my first throw. So I still can't say it makes a huge difference, but I take this as a signal to keep it like that for now.

Bloody hell. Just played the shite out of my new Snakebite 1 darts that I couldn't let go for just 25€. Did plenty of 100+ shots, 3 140s and this has been the checkout to a 15 dart leg. No max, a bit wonky on the doubles, so I still lost 4-6. What a fight!

Just had that stupid idea of what if Snakebite nicked the Forge Flights off Ando's table, but it actually plays quite nice. Just don't ask me why dart three went onto the others and not under like it was intended. It's in though, that counts.

Practice goes well. Definitely a benefit to do it regularly.
And #darts also makes me learn more.
Now I wanted a specific point in black and thought, sure, I'll burnish it. Turns out they use too much chromium. Had that confirmed by the manufacturer.
I'm becoming a chemist now.

Sometimes happiness is already home and just needs a different perspective. Those Red Dragon Blue Fin are like wallflowers, almost new despite being some of my oldest. Because I didn't see the great pragmatic darts they make after a point swap, despite "just" being 80% tungsten.

I love how all the family support my #darts, so besides tons of snacks I got a variety of points, some new flights, a darts card game, darts socks, some other supplies and the highlights a set of Gary Anderson Phase 6 darts and a fresh Winmau Blade 6 Dual Core.

Got in some Peter Wright WC 2020 darts and although thinking he might have had 3-4mm longer points inserted the 38mm ones I usually prefer on a Snakebite dart. It's not a huge difference, but should I go for authenticity with results like this?

Currently having fun with my new MVG Signature darts. I can now imagine why Michael has switched back to an older design of his flights though. As you can see, the freshly unfolded flights separate at the spine and it didn't take me long hitting that hole.

For whatever reason there's a magnet in the double 13 and there sure will be (practice) scenarios this could make sense. It's just that this was Bob's 27 and it should have been D4 to add 8 points for each hit. So this was rather a beautiful way to lose 8 points for failure.

I've won these Karella XT-3 brass softtip darts a while ago and just put in some spare conversion points to play on my sisal board. Had to reverse them though to put the knurling to the back where I'd use it. No excuses.

Some of the still relatively affordable darts, the Winmau Tuscan are pragmatic but colorful and throw great out of the box, so I just changed the flight system for the look and the gold points just provide a little texture at additional 3mm length.
