Actually I think you can argue that one of the things all NuStar Wars properties have gotten unquestionably right is a wide proliferation of weird little guys.

CORRECTION: It says it will reduce funding for IXPE, NuSTAR, and TESS, and it will fund some pioneers at reduced levels starting in FY27. It is unclear to me if these missions can actually operate at the reduced level in the president's budget though.

When SN2023ixf went off last year, the closest supernova in nearly a decade, NuSTAR was able to take observations within just four days - early enough to observe high-energy X-rays from the explosion while lower-energy X-rays were still obscured by the circumstellar material. 🔭🛰️

31,576 objects are in orbit right now, but where's NuSTAR? 🌌

Our tracker shows its exact position as it probes black holes and supernova remnants with hard X-rays.

Super mixed feelings at the NuSTAR group meeting today. On the one hand, celebrating having done excellently at Senior Review (justifying the continued operation of the mission - NuSTAR has unique capabilities and is excellent value for money in terms of science, and NASA agrees!) On the other... 🔭🧪

It says so much that people like Weir want to firmly write nuStar Trek (or the Star Wars sequels) off as non-canon instead of trying to build on or improve those and be in conversation with them
Ah, so Andy Weir is like... *dumb* dumb
