a friend that's been helping with the backend of this script got it in a super easy-to-work-with place yesterday and ive been spending alllll morning wiring it into SL's animation gesture system. arrow keys pilot look direction, and numberpad works as a puppeteering system for emotes

I got one of them newfangled "creamy" sounding keyboards and they were not kidding. I love this thing. I only wish I had my numberpad back, but alas.

in general the between the numberpad and alphanumeric keys are some of the most useful IDE keys on a keyboard idk why typists seek to nix them most frequently with 80% and lower format keyboards

Day 337 - #retrorandom - It's been a while since we've had a Sharp, and this is one of my faves, an MZ-1200, sold only in Japan. Basically an MZ-80K in an MZ-80A case. Funky orange numberpad is the giveaway.

I'm so head-over-heels for this keyboard I was gifted. It has:
1. Full numberpad on the side. As God intended.
2. Good heft for "spirited' typers
3. Soft keys, great sound
4. Keys that *light up* as needed
If I don't write a novel now, I'm out of excuses.
This is not a bit. I love this thing.

I'm so head-over-heels for this keyboard I was gifted. It has:
1. Full numberpad on the side. As God intended.
2. Good heft for "spirited' typers
3. Soft keys, great sound
4. Keys that *light up* as needed

I guess its more technologically conventional but i'll be honest, I almost thought the Kyrios was gonna press those buttons on the numberpad for a second.

if you hold down the numberpad lock key for 8 seconds, it turns on a feature where you'll hear a beep every time you hit the capslock or numberpad lock key
more importantly, you do the same to turn it off

Felix peeing himself because the restaurant washroom has one of those dumb touch screen numberpad locks (he fumbles it so badly and keeps somehow tapping the wrong buttons,,,as old ppl do with technology)

Is there any reason the 2, 5, 8, /, enter, +, and - keys of my numberpad would stop working all of a sudden other than "your keyboard is busted"

booted up old laptop, moving pics now.
it makes me so fucking sad i can no longer use it - i miss having a fucking numberpad.
(it overheats if i use it for anything more intensive than occasional file transfer and even thats making the fans go hard)

even a dial. ill settle for a dial if i cant have buttons. my old microwave had you set numbers by dial and it was 5000x better than this touch pad/sensor numberpad bullshit.
