Like if it goes through as legislated and blows up a bunch of SNAP and Medicaid programs, I don't think voters will recognize "Oh, this is because of the scheduled implementation of OBBA, as passed in summer 2025."

There was a generational plus up in the FY26 MILCON budget and OBBA but a lot of that I am assuming has been raided or reprogrammed for program overruns and for the O&Mpocalypse

There is very little that people wanted in the past 22 months from this administration. You can point to closing the border and a little bit of the OBBA (no tax on tips, OT, etc). But generally its mostly crap.
