Depending on which he finds, #OCKai journals have herbal recipes, food recipes, notes about locations he's found said herbs in, and other things relating to being a cleric.

For #OCKai, finding love and support. As broken as he is (for reasons I won't spoil ❤️), he doesn't feel worthy, but Karlach reassures him she's by his side no matter what.

In all of my Tavs and Durges, I love that no matter what gets thrown at them, no matter how dark it gets ( #OCKai included) that the day will break eventually even when the dawn is dark and bloody.

In all of my Tavs and Durges, I love that no matter what gets thrown at them, no matter how dark it gets ( #OCKai included) that the day will break eventually even when the dawn is dark and bloody.
For #OCKai in the start it was Karlach but Halsin, Nettie and Astarion ended up being his other supports. Jaheira as well when she joined and Minthara.

#OCKai ends up trancing for many many years due to a mixture of nightmares and bad things that I won't spoil. His first proper rest happens with Karlach in Last Light Inn where she wakes up to him sound asleep wrapped around her. Karlach knew how much it meant and was highly honored <3

#OCKai only begrudgingly helps with Wyll's idiot dad finding because he has people he cares about in Baldur's Gate. Past that he really doesn't care for Wyll's dad considering the man walked out into actively hostile wilds with a couple of rookies and Fist.
#OCKai gets a lot of reassuring touches and hugs from Karlach and slowly gets to a point where any time he needs a hug, he just goes up and hugs Karlach, even if it's from behind, he'll tuck his head against her back and hold her whilst her tail wraps around him and soothe him.

For #OCKai it went horrendously poorly and it took about a tenday for the others to find him and if you read his fic, you will understand the reason for that reaction from Kai.

If you ask #OCKai, there are many things he considers the worst, blaming himself for them, but I can't really spoil much as they're in his fic.

If you ask #OCKai, there are many things he considers the worst, blaming himself for them, but I can't really spoil much as they're in his fic.
#OCKai is definitely much more submissive, but as he has Karlach as his partner, he knows even being scared that she'll never hurt him or cross his boundaries and care for him well <3

For #OCKai and Karlach, it was a lot of reassurance and an open door offer of support. Karlach knew that Kai was a mess, especially being as reactive as he is in the beginning of BG3. Over time Kai opened up, but Karlach continued being the main rock in their relationship.

For #OCKai and Karlach, it was a lot of reassurance and an open door offer of support. Karlach knew that Kai was a mess, especially being as reactive as he is in the beginning of BG3. Over time Kai opened up, but Karlach continued being the main rock in their relationship.
At first #OCKai believed that there was good and hope in much of the world, even if it was broken and scarred, but alas unfortunately over time even Kai ends up losing hope and becoming stone. Least until he meets Karlach who despite all the shitty circumstances still stops to admire flowers....
Living in Minneapolis this last week, I've really needed to find small bits of light wherever I can find them.
