What I love about Benediction is that whether it's with hundreds of people and a worship band (as at #OFMonsite2025 earlier this week) or half a dozen people and some slightly ropey plainchant plus traffic and sirens (as at St Peter's Cowgate this evening) it's so evidently the same Jesus.

There is something very wonderful about witnessing beloved friends being utterly themselves within the life and ministry of @onfiremission.bsky.social. This was one such moment. There have been others too. #OFMonsite2025
A truly beautiful day at #OnFireMission2025 with excellent keynote from Sr Gemma Simmonds, the huge privilege of listening to some precious, fragile , hopeful stories on holy ground within my chaplaincy work & finally the utter joy of officiating at Benediction tonight. So many blessings. ❤️

Only *I* - because I am incorrigible - would follow up three wonderful, affirming, disruptive days at #OFMonsite2025 by getting back to London in time for an evening lecture by Karen Kilby on how the Spirit shapes the development of doctrine, amidst our work of affirmation and disruption.

Finally on my way home from #OFMonsite2025, after an overnight stop to see friends and do some research interviews for my PhD. My traveling companion (courtesy of Yvonne Bell) has provoked some interesting conversations on the train! A pilgrimage journey of sorts, perhaps...?! #PilgrimPeople
