I suspected the patient’s symptoms were mostly caused by myofascial pain caused by multiple dental procedures completed in a short timeframe +altered occlusion. We sent her to PT with an emphasis in craniofacial exercises and dry needling to break up the persistent muscle knots

#OMCase1 update!

She’s currently taking cymbalta per her primary doc to help with the anxiety but stated that it hasn’t really done much either (she’s on week 4 of it)
So what’s going on?

She’s currently taking cymbalta per her primary doc to help with the anxiety but stated that it hasn’t really done much either (she’s on week 4 of it)
