With the latest run of the 12Z HRRR-this is how the HRRR thinks how things may play out for Tues. (from 2AM Tues. thru Midnight)-and yes, it also has shifted things a bit to the east. Showers/scat. storms still on tap. #onwx #onstorm

While all the parameters are Low, on the cusp of being notable, they are not zero, NBM has more coverage, than SPC's SREF. so expecting scat. storms, maybe a few beefy stormsnoticed a shift to the east-SE in US territory. These local "sleeper events" are tuff. lol #onwx #onstorm

Taking the conservative approach, some model guidance (EURO AI CAN ens.) on possible snow accumulations late next week (next Fri. thru next weekend)-both are picking up some possible LE snows for SONT. We'll see how this "model think" changes during the week. #onwx #onstorm

Look's like another round of storms in the far north of ONT this early AM (added the current MUCAPE fill) -meanwhile showers are now entering extreme SWONT, moving NNE-ward. Latest radar loop👇 #onwx #onstorm

The just in 0Z HRRR keeps the focus for more frequent showers/rain in extreme SWONT along the N. shore of L. Erie-NBM even has the risk (low) of thunder Sun AM. Then a cold front drops thru NE/EONT Mon.🦃 the risk for more showery, unsettled weather shifts there. #onwx #onstorm

Latest radar composite for ONT,-bit surprised of the amount of thunderstorms coverage in the far north this afternoon, -meanwhile further south, showers are beginning to enter the Lower lakes regions from Post-Tropical Cyclone Isaias, that blob is moving north-ward #onwx #onstorm
October 11, 2026 at 12:41 AM
Now that's better shot, (higher☀️angle) Even tho Hurricane Isaias is now post tropical & in transition, it still carries some of it's structure of it's former self. That Cirrus shield entering SONT (or what's left of it) was part of it's hi-level outflow structure #onwx #onstorm
October 10, 2026 at 2:54 PM
Latest Eastern NA radar + Satellite view-Post-Tropical Cyclone Isaias continues it's journey northward. The "primary job" of hurricanes-in a "nutshell"-to redistribute heat/moisture thru-out this blue dot & "try" to balance/regulate the planet's climate. Good Luck!-tuff job to do #onwx #onstorm
