This beauty is an Optonica (Sharp) RP-4705. I am in love with it’s retro-future design and solid glass lid. It plays well, though the automatic functions need some work.

This is a great comp full of weird tunes that I don't play nearly enough. It's getting some love on the Optonica (Sharp) RP-114VL vertical both sides playing turntable.

Optonica RP5100 turntable is still my favourite bit of that system. Spinning the Psychedelic Furs at the mo. Pre-amp is a Fosi X1: cheap but decent.

Optonica is a bit slept on.
The later stuff is affordable; the stuff it made in the early and mid-Seventies is quite rightly sought after.
The 7100 model turntable (dearer than my 5100) had a track search function - on a 33 rpm record!
