Found a trig point.
Local churchyard visit to 'tick' a flush bracket style OSBM (Ordnance Survey BenchMarker).
OSBMs no longer used in UK (OS uses GPS). Church guide says is only one in Rainham.
But many carved into walls.. So, found map of historic locations, game on! I'm a benchmark hunter, it's what I do now☺️

Benchmarks on the River Nene and tributary in Wellingborough. One a big OSBM Bolt on Lower Wellingborough Lock, t’other a little Rivet opposite Victoria Mills.

Today's proposed disaster relief budget would give ReBuild_NC $50m to get them through the next 3 months for Hurricane Matthew, Florence recovery. This is a small dent in the agency's $221m shortfall, the result of bad budgeting. OSBM would have oversight. #ncga #ncpol @insideclimatenews.org
