Cory Baumann, Ph.D., #OUHCOM assistant professor and investigator with OMNI and IMMA, received a five-year, $2.8 million NIH grant to study muscle resilience. The research focuses on two proteins, HuR and MyBP-H, to find new therapeutic strategies for aging individuals.

This past Tuesday, April 28, #OUHCOM Dublin celebrated the end of the academic year with a volleyball tournament co-hosted by Dublin Surgery & Sports Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine. Our OMSIIs emerged as the winning team after a great round of competition against their peers and OMSIs.

On Saturday, #OUHCOM sponsored the game between the Ohio Bobcats and Jacksonville State. Interim Senior Dean Jennifer Gwilym, D.O., and students stepped on the field to toss T-shirts and celebrate our 50th anniversary during an incredible fourth-overtime win.

On Oct. 28, the Cleveland Pediatrics Club, #OUHCOM and partners hosted Trunk or Treat, giving 955 kids and families a safe, fun night! Thank you to all the trunk hosts, volunteers and donors who made the event possible! 🎃
