This was my first time ever participating! My favorite part overall was the creation of a new OC, Alice, who is somehow the coolest character I've ever come up with. I also really liked being able to write down more pre-arr lore, which until now has basically just lived in outline form! YAY!!
Actually if folks are up for it, I'd love to hear: What was your favorite part about participating in FFXIVWrite this year (and possibly your first time ever)? Whether it's meeting new people, writing unexpected lore, passing a personal challenge or whatever else!

Next weekend! I’ll be teaching “From Haunts to Screams,” a workshop on how to write a scary story. You’ll leave with the outline and beginnings of your own horror short story, techniques to develop your tale, and a deeper understanding of the horror publishing space.
