#Octember Better than one would think, depending on which characters are touching the oars! Mick would instantly jump in to organize everyone/figure out a way to keep everyone in sync. Cedric is actually good at rowing, and Arthur will follow directions so long as he's doing something fun. (1/3)

Eleanor, who's terrible at following directions (even if her best friend is giving them) AND rowing, and Reuben, who has the attention span of a gnat. So long as *either* of them aren't touching the oars, the canoe's going forward. But Reuben's in the water either way. (3/3)

I have 100s – first I noticed as a kid was in 1958 film The Vikings ships move without oars/sails; the incorrect use of aircraft in different periods of the SWW; how in the new All Creatures series (which I am a fan of) the vets' clothes are incredibly clean, rather than covered in oomska, etc etc
