Found myself another obscure word that I thought might appreciate an outing in one of my verses. I think I'm not alone in being a 'Selenophile'. As for the image, kind of an experiment with one of my photos that I liked in the end.

Image is of a Crescent Moon, in the top middle part of the image, thinly covered by light cloud, in a deep blue night sky. Most of the image is covered in light cloud. In the middle, at the bottom is the planet Venus. This image is an experiment with one of my photos. At first I wasn't sure what I had done to it, but then I really liked it. Text: Moon Lover When it occurred, how so, I truly do not know, just as ocean tides are drawn to, orchestrated by, the moon, I too feel this same attraction, allure the wide expanse of star illuminated night, quietens my unease, my turning thoughts, the luminous moon offers solace, acceptance, is it any wonder that I fall under its lustrous spell openly, I confess my selenophile status, never to be anything other © Aj d’Wit - 25 August 2026 (Selenophile - someone fascinated with, attracted to the Moon)
