⌛️ After 7 long years, Australian Ocean Sleeper returns with a new LP. 🎸
It’s noticeably heavier and darker, filled with complex structures, unexpected bridges, tempo changes, and a great variety of patterns. A super-solid composition of melody-driven metalcore tracks with plenty dynamics.

I like this song. But the camera moving is very…dynamic.
But it’s all a one-shot music clip, the timing needed for that is great, especially for the drummers.

Track: Ocean Sleeper Share Powerful New Title Track ‘Peace When I’m Dead’
Ocean Sleeper have announced their long-awaited second album, Peace When I’m Dead, with the Gippsland metalcore outfit set to release the record globally on August 21 via BMG Australia and Rise Records. Alongside the album announcement, the band have unveiled its title track, an emotionally charged follow-up to comeback single ‘Break The Cycle’. Accompanied by a powerful video from Freeman Films, ‘Peace When I’m Dead’ finds the Victorian four-piece confronting grief, depression and inner turmoil with a sense of catharsis that has become central to their identity. “This band has never been afraid to dive into the darker parts of our lives,” says vocalist Karl Spiessl.

I like the song, but also the video. It shows off great trade craft. It's a one shot, there are some theoretical cut points, but their bts shorts videos suggests it's a 1 shot. Camera movement is a bit hectic.
