as a planet, we need to be desalinating way more oceanwater and developing permeant solutions for pumping fresh water inland at scale. maybe there was a better way in the past but we're simply running out of water now, and it's going to be challenging predicting rainfall as climate change worsens.
Researchers found that moisture lost to evaporation and drought, plus runoff from pumped groundwater, now outpaces the melting of glaciers and the ice sheets of either Antarctica or Greenland as the largest contributor of water to the oceans.

you can just assume i'm not into doing things "the easy way" if i did it myself.
i've also gathered my own oceanwater at slack tide, filtered it, and boiled it down to make my own sea salt.

when i make my garlic jalapeño sauerkraut, i do fermentation process. why would i vinegar something when brine works better.

Oooh, I hadn't thought of sugar free caramel! I use the SF coconut syrup to make diabetic friendly Sonic Oceanwater (diet sprite + sf coconut syrup). Unsure about using zucchini but hey, if nothing else, zucchini bread!
