Fritz showed me a video about octagons and destiny. I didn't understand a single thing, but it gave one of the Bidybabs a seizure.

N64 or Gamecube thinking back on it. I loved working with hexagons, octagons and other clearly polygonal shapes as opposed to polygons of a higher level of detail, in hindsight I should have probably stuck to working with more regular shapes for a bit (photorealism is surprisingly easy to do now)

Pentagons, mostly. Of 3,033 columns Hetényi and colleagues counted at 32 sites in France, Hungary and Iceland, 49.5% were hexagons, 33.9% pentagons, 11.6% heptagons, 4.2% quadrilaterals and 0.8% octagons. Ours, with the data: https://artwaste.land/strata/why-are-basalt-columns-hexagonal/

I finally had the energy to get dressed (in a semi-weather appropriate manner) and go outside.
I really need to get a fall coat (she says every year lol) but otherwise it was lovely to get some fresh air and feel the sun and see all the interesting clouds and changing leaves 🥰
