Day 26 of Octobeni!
People seemed to really love my black Kobeni design, so I drew her as a gyaru
I do think this design ended up straying too far from Kobeni's original design, so I'll keep her as an OC goin forward. Maybe her name can be Kendra or Bernie

I finished Octobeni (prepared the last few Kobeni ahead of time) and instead of starting Fortune's Weave, I'm instead going through Dawntrail because I wanna be caught up to MSQ before Evercold

Currently practicing an extreme form of discipline where I'm forbidding myself to start Fire Emblem Fortune's Weave until I've completed Octobeni.

I deeply love how you restyled kobeni's hair into a black haircut. She's so pretty it's making me emotional.
Also her being a separate OC means we're gonna see her outside of octobeni, right? 👀

Ash lore time alongside rambling!
So, Octobeni 6 is ending next week. As such, I wanted to take a look back at some of my old work and try to reflect on why I draw her the way I do and how that changed over time. When I first started Octobeni in 2021, I would always draw her sad and busty

I still think Octobeni 2024 was my best to date, which is crazy cus it was one of the worst time periods of my life. I had to deal with crazy developments at work alongside the death of my uncle (whom I was a caretaker for) and the planning of his funeral. I started drawing fat Kobeni here.

Octobeni 2025 was also great as well, and it really got to a point where I could draw Kobeni in less than an hour and without using reference photos. Crazy stuff I can't lie. I did all this while help my fiancee move across the country and furnishing our new apartment

Looking back at 2021, I only drew Kobeni smiling twice for Octobeni, and even then she would still be sweating a storm. I think what happened, truthfully....is that I got bored! I got bored of always drawing her sweating or crying or sad.
