i hadn't seen this old rc ruling until @wachelreeks.com read it in the most recent command zone episode.
it's impressive how succinctly it nails the core problem with changing hybrid color identity rules from a format diversity standpoint and it absolutely still rings true almost 20 years later.

Point Grey is Seth rogan & buddies. ALL their movies seem to be kinda offcolour Adult Themes. i do NOT want the muppets to be Sullied in any way, i consider them Children/ young teens focused. Any production has to be Camp. Like the Muppets & tim Currey as capt hook... RIP.

LMAOOO as i said it went all numb and its hard to move, my hand is all tingly/itching too 😭 it might just be the light but it looks a bit offcolour aswell…ill be fine, this sort of thing tends to wear off after some time anyway

THAT SAID. i think in practice, it kinda wont change much for me personally. you can already run offcolour fetches in edh, and lots of people think that's weird. i solved this "problem" by simply not running offcolour fetches. wotc isnt doing anything to *prevent* people from brewing

The best seems to be through the reps on the RC/Commander Format Panel, and from the OG post about Hybrid, it was up for debate with people on both sides. And we see people on the CFP who support the change now.
