I'm so excited to have finished these pieces. I plan on wearing my hat and the scarf to our weekly protest! My husband wanted his hat a little longer so I adjusted the mosaic crochet pattern (by repeating rows) despite this being my first try at that craft. #BlueWave #Vote #Crochet #Handmade
A women who just voted (it's obvious, right?! lol) pictured wearing a blue wave scarf that she did not wear to the polls but will be wearing at a protest this week. The scarf has an offwhite background/border and waves in different shades of blue as the yarn was variegated. It is made via mosaic crochet. A crocheted hat sitting sadly on a table, waiting to be worn to a protest later this week. A free pattern from Ravelry was followed and it is made with 2 skeins of yarn - off white and variegated blues. The top appears to have a sunshine centered on it and below there are stripes and then a big row of blue waves. A man wearing a blue wave winter hat sitting outside in the early darkness of fall. It was changed by adding a repeat of 4 rows to make it a little longer, because that's what handmade items are good for - customization!
