It was nice to get a lowkey 👮🏼♂️ as they have often freaked me out…police contact, but hubby was there. Same 👮🏼♂️was actually at the scene of last week’s ebike/car/pedestrian collision just 1 km away. I forgot that Friday afternoons get more dangerous for 🏃♀️ on the Ohlone trail.

Usually after fast track runs I like to do a speedy run on the ohlone greenway to show I’m achieving some same peak splits there too even though the vehicle/safety conditions don’t allow for top speed, but after Friday’s battery I experienced my top speeds will drop. Be safe out there 🏃♀️❤️🩹 #running

It will be interesting if it is the battery by teen boys on motorized scooters and bikes that win people over to supporting flock or axios cameras in pedestrian area like the Ohlone Greenway trail in California. I wont have my safety compromised by teens that don’t even know what it’s like to work.

To be clear a taser nor spray would have helped me with my battery incident. I was pushed forcefully from behind by a young teen on a heavy duty personal electric scooter on a segment of unoccupied trail in a central part of the Ohlone Greenway in El Cerrito. At best, the teen was going too fast

It ended in me getting hit and run from behind by a teen on an electric scooter with torn up knee and a chipped tooth. There were not enough ppl around to do anything. It’s now seared into my brain that the ohlone greenway is trash near school release.

It would be nice to see speed controlled by GPS or something. In Seattle, speed caps r posted frequently on the Burke Gilman trail but i’ve never noticed them once on the Ohlone Greenway. This is a problem. The hubby and I got in a convo about race as a factor b/c of parent behavior at the track too

haven’t done my #5KADay #running yet today, & haven’t missed a day since early Feb but I’m still out of sorts after using yesterday’s run data for a crime time. It was recorded as a battery. hubby & 👮♂️ think it was a shove from behind from the e-scooter rider. I see dentist 🦷 tuesday #runsky
