After the fight at the edge of the universe Zeye is still very weak, in critical condition, but alive. Estinien is carrying Zeye off the ship as Aymeric is running towards them in the Old Sharlayan port, feeling like he cannot run fast enough to reach the men he loves. A group of sin eaters advance upon Zeye, who is trying desperately to let fly enough arrows to try and take them out lest they kill him themselves. The sin eaters continue to advance, and Zeye's arrows do not find enough marks. They begin to swarm him. Enclosed on all sides and too close to use his weapon efficiently, Zeye still tries to take out as many sin eaters as he can before they can kill him. He is doomed. Zinnia, moments before the previous scenes and somewhere in the Shroud, succumbs to her wounds from the explosion of Dalamud. Hydaelyn will take Zeye's soul just before he actually dies on the First, and put it into Zinnia's body and use creation magicks to partially heal and fantasia the body to have more masculine features in an attempt at compensation for what She's done.
