Who's fire alarms went off at 12:30 am, 2 am and again at 3 am? This gal 😅 Happens at least once a year when the weather is super windy 🫠 time to use an air compressor on them all and get rid of that dust #oldhouseproblems

The rust and the paint are off all 6 kitchen vent covers. I'm just going to enjoy this for a day or so before using a sprayed clear-coat to seal the metal. 😁

I popped 2 of the metal vents out of the under-the-sink cabinet of our 1951 house yesterday and managed to get the umpteen layers of paint off!, so now they're soaking in rust remover.

Unfortunately, these are srsly slopped up with several layers of paint. I decided yesterday to take a shot at cleaning one door.

I decided to plaster all the small dings in the short wall outside the bathroom when I discovered whatever this blob is. Looks like somebody painted over a wet kleenex. Is about 3/4" tall.
