Labor seeking bipartisanship with LNP coalition increasingly imbibing reactionary populism under international influences (like Trump-led MAGAism) risks legitimising regressive narratives

Here's an idea
Establish a permanent joint standing committee between Labor, Greens, and teals

Tax fossil fuel

So there it is ...

The Duopoly effectively sold out our sovereignty

We're the pawns and it's costing us $380Bn+ so that Marles has a cushy post politics consultancy

That's what Labor has delivered

The thing to note, though, is their disingenuous framing of the Coalition’s proposal to supercharge the giveaway of our gas resources as necessary for energy security and reducing energy bills for Australians.

Decades of corrupt #auspol & increasing laws stripping Aussies "perceived" personal rights, a duopoly doing secretive shitfuckery to hold onto power, backed by lobbyists/ex pollies, billionaires. MSM is fukn just propaganda, Aussies need to wake the fuck up & take action.

In 1997 then “geniuses” treasurer Costello & PM Howard sold off our gold reserves.
Gold sold: 167 tonnes
-Proceeds received in 1997: AUD $2.4 billion

-If we still owned that gold today (spot price ≈ AUD $6,054.50/troy ounce, 7 Oct 2025):
≈ AUD $32.51 billion.

👉🏻We’d be $30+billion richer today.

On behalf of all women, we plead that the Australian government take urgent action to prevent male violence against us. Current approaches are not working! Take. This. Seriously. It's well over time that women stopped living in fear.

More women have been killed by male violence since 2020 than all Australians killed by shark attacks, terrorism and one punch attacks combined in the last 25 years.

“…if Australia says genocide, war crimes and unlawful occupation are unacceptable, what should that commitment prevent Australian governments, businesses & institutions from doing?” #auspol #RedLinesPackage #SenateInquiryBlocked #OligarchicMajorParties
The crossbench introduced an omnibus bill last week to stop Australia enabling genocide.

Most of the mainstream media ignored it, and Labor/Coalition voted to block a Senate inquiry – an unusual move.

So we're sharing the key details. 👇️

"Future Made in Australia" can’t just mean more mines and subsidies for billionaires. Real future-making means community-owned renewables, repair workshops, and circular economies... not more extraction.

Fascinating that Albanese and Dutton are generous in their remarks about one another but punch down on Greens who lost seats. Respect is apparently reserved for 66% who vote ALP/LNP. The 34% who didn’t, can be denigrated and treated with contempt. Duopoly looks after its own. #auspol

We - voters - are being systematically shut out

You might like to consider that when you vote for old legacy ideological parties who feel you threaten them

That is not democracy

Sorry kids, believe us, we tried, really hard, to push our political leaders to do better.

Changes to the way we regulate offshore oil and gas approvals are being rammed through parliament.

Labor are cowardly voting for a Coalition motion to cut a Senate inquiry into the policy to less than a month.

It's the fossil fuel industry leading the Coalition, leading Labor.

Remember: Every time you vote for a party or candidate that doesn’t have serious policies to limit global warming to 1.5°C, you vote for a future with more and more devastating events like this.

In Australia, this includes Labor, Liberal, Nationals, LNP, One Nation.

Every 4 years, as I watch the horrifying election crap happen in the USA, I'm yet again grateful for the parliamentary democracy & preferential voting system we have in Australia, which keeps us at least somewhat safe from the Two Party system.
The case for more political diversity as we move away from the binary lock-in of voting for the major parties that no longer serve this country or Australians

The major parties wonder why voters are leaving them. Have a look at the recent Labor conference for a few clues…the people are left out of real debate.

Providing a clear example of how immoral Labor/LNP are, they voted AGAINST removing tax breaks for “charities” that fund ILLEGAL Israeli settlements & the IDF who are murdering Palestinians .

It’s almost like Labor & the LNP support Zionism & genocide.

16 countries now have bullet (high speed) train services.

It's a long way up & down or across Australia to link major centres with high-speed train service.

You can have flip-flopping policy chaos every few years, or a bullet train, but you can't have both, ok?
