Composite museum photograph of a late Victorian wedding gown dating from c.1883–1887. The cream or ivory satin dress is shown from the front and back on a mannequin, with a close-up detail of the train. The fitted bodice has a high standing collar trimmed with gathered fabric, three-quarter-length sleeves, and a row of fabric-covered buttons down the centre front. The skirt is full-length with layered panels and an extended train. The rear view shows the sweeping train ending in a deep pleated flounce with decorative braided trim.
