It took about an hour from Tenjin Station to arrive at the final stop, Omuta Station 🚆
The Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line doesn't require an express ticket and is easy to ride, so I recommend it when you want a change of pace👍👍

It took about an hour from Tenjin Station to arrive at the final stop, Omuta Station 🚆
The Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line doesn't require an express ticket and is easy to ride, so I recommend it when you want a change of pace👍👍

Mitsui Chemicals on Monday apologized for a gas leakage incident at a plant at its Omuta Works site in Omuta, Fukuoka Prefecture.

A chlorine gas detector was activated around 5:40 p.m. Sunday, triggering an emergency shutdown of the Omuta Works plant. 42 individuals were taken to hospital.

One day we will hopefully see the winding tower for ourselves, it's still there! 🥰✨
We also used Kasuya, Umi, Sasaguri, Unzen, Omuta, Dazaifu, Hakata-ku and even parts of Gifu prefecture and Yūbari in Hokkaido as references for Promise Mascot Agency.
We hope to visit them all one day!

Instead of the bus I took the commuter train across Kyushu. Slow, but the landscape was beautiful as was the Bach on my headphones.

Rest in peace, Matsuo Keiko. This is a photograph from one of her visits to Sanrizuka, in 1979. I was lucky to meet her on my first visit to Omuta, Kyushu, in 2017. I was there with an infant, sussing out the archives. I have our interviews and the materials she saved. 1/1
