Oh! I have a little trick that works for this sometimes!

It's a thesaurus but you can, like, just try to describe the word and it's usually pretty good at pulling it up? It's not AI either, been around long before that whole mess, just a really good search index!

I've only done a small handful of each of those but it's mostly trial and error with standard software and OneLook and various answer databases to see which lengths I need and what will fit. It's fun because they're different from what I'm used to, though Some Assembly Required is a real bastard.

I like trying to use OneLook Thesaurus! What's cool about it is that you can type in a DEFINITION of a word, and it'll dig up words that most closely match it. Maybe it'll help ya out? :D

You don't ask Google "whats something written the same front and back", you ask a search engine for a reverse dictionary, click on the first result, put the definition into *that* and look through *that's* results. Here's what I got

i bounce between a few different thesaurus options depending on context (wordhippo is nice for words with lots of subtly different meanings, onelook is great for those tip-of-the-tongue moments), but i'm always surprised how good wiktionary is for the more colloquial/conversational stuff
