This version of “Deacon Blues” is my #onevotewonder

I’m kind of surprised since I heard it on Sleepy Hollow.

My one miss in the #XPNcountdown was the 2003 Grammy tribute to Joe Strummer - Elvis Costello, Bruce Springsteen, Steve Van Zandt and Dave Grohl performing London Calling. Didn't make the #onevotewonder playlist, but who knows? I guess @kristenkurtis.bsky.social could check.

What a fun mixtape morning. Was holding out hope that this brilliant rendition, or really ANY cover by St. Vincent, would make #OneVoteWonder playlist. #XPNCountdown.
