The ONEXPLAYER X1 Air is a portable computer that's positioned as a handheld gaming PC. But with an 11 inch, 2560 x 1600 pixel, 120 Hz thanks to a set of detachable controllers that fit onto the sides. First announced in China earlier this summer, the ONEXPLAYER X1 Air is now available for pre-order globally with prices starting at $1099. It's expected to begin shipping September 25, 2025.

One Netbook's next handheld gaming PC is actually the latest in a line of 3-in-1 devices from the company. With a 10.95 inch, 2560 x 1600 pixel display and detachable controllers you can use the ONEXPLAYER X1 Air as a Windows tablet or a handheld game system. There's also a detachable keyboard that the company says lets you use the system like a laptop, although I'm not totally convinced that a tablet with a keyboard is really a laptop replacement.

The ONEXPLAYER X1 line of handheld gaming PCs are basically tablets with the guts of a high-performance laptop and a pair of controllers that attach to the sides for gaming, but which can be disconnected when you don't need them. One Netbook launched the first model at the start of 2024 and expanded the ONEXPLAYER X1 family several times over the course of the year, with new models featuring different screen sizes and processor options.
