Onity Group (NYSE: ONIT) reported second quarter 2026 net loss attributable to common stockholders of $13 million, or diluted EPS of ($1.53), implying GAAP ROE of (8%). Adjusted pre-tax income was $14 million, equating to annualized adjusted ROE of 9%. The net loss includes $9 million of costs tied to a reverse asset sale and legacy subservicing transfer and $24 million of unfavorable asset fair value changes.Total revenue was $283 million, up 15% versus Q2 2025, and adjusted revenue was $281 million, up 24%. Onity recorded $42 billion in total servicing additions, including a quarterly record of over $15 billion in originations, up 64% year over year, and ended the quarter with servicing UPB of $341 billion, up 10%.The company completed a reverse asset sale to Finance of America Reverse with net proceeds of approximately $77 million, exceeded first-half subservicing addition guidance with $35 billion, reduced servicing advances 33% year over year to $369 million, and increased owned forward servicing UPB 44% to $176 billion. Onity repurchased 141,343 shares for $5.8 million, lifting book value per share to $73, up $13 versus Q2 2025. Management maintained 2026 adjusted ROE guidance of 10%–15%, now expected at the lower end, and reaffirmed prior guidance on servicing UPB growth, MSR hedge effectiveness, and operating efficiency.
