The first thing I did when I got a Windows 11 PC was install OpenShell.
Next, I disabled OneDrive and remapped things properly, which did take some doing.
Finally, I disabled Copilot. Which I'm pretty sure also took some doing.
So far, no complaints.

Once you install OpenShell and run the Windows Debloater, Windows 11 is pretty damn solid.
Hell, you should probably do the same thing with Windows 10, for the same reasons.

SECONDED. ShutUp10++ is excellent and they are doing god's work. i also really really really like OpenShell, which lets you make the windows GUI normal again (as in return it to the pre-windows-8-fuckery state and add a bunch of customizability) github.com/Open-Shell/O...

ahhhh, finally. just got done reformatting my machine and installing windows 11. now i simply run the powershell debloat script, and then the powershell remove ai script, and then O&O ShutUp10/11, and then OpenShell installer, and now I have a reasonably functional OS. simple as,
