you gotta get this "ST2" addon. It add so many BASIC typesetting features that are just absent from vanilla blender. Case in point: opentype stylistic sets seen here. Saved me a major headache,

This @figma.com feature I posted about yesterday is actually an OpenType-powered substitution, baked right into the font itself — as confirmed by Inter’s designer @rsms.me!
When you use the “x” character in a layer name, @figma.com will detect if you’re using it to write dimensions, and then fix it for you by changing it to the correct “×” character. Amazing. 👏

Good news for designers who’d like to imitate the look of Nintendo logo and print materials: FanRan E (ファン蘭 E, img 1), the definitive ‘80s Japanese font, will be available as OpenType from Oct ‘25. It’s not exactly identical (img 2) but as close as you can get.
