I say this as a new fan who not only got into the series via OPLA, and the show means a lot to me as a result, but just the series as a whole for pulling me out of a rut after so long.
It hurts to see the live action being treated by these ppl this way.

Ppl are allowed to have an opinion on OPLA and/or not watch it but some act like it's the worse adaption to exist.
Also just seeing the worse takes ever and sometimes it's over shit that shouldn't be a take to behind with.

Honestly the hardest part of writing OPLA fic while also being a long-time one piece fan is that the characters keep slipping into their anime versions. But I love the OPLA versions! I have to keep rewatching the show to remember what they’re like 😭

I thought some of the characters sounded a bit off, so I checked again that they're indeed voiced by the OPLA actors, and they are. I just figured out why I had that feeling: the actors must match the very quick-paced animation, so they're forced to talk much faster than usual.

I knew the OPLA designs were used but i thought the arc would be the original arcs just messed with bc the narrator is Usopp telling the story so they could change anything to anything but no pretty straight forward. That sucks
