That screen arrived today from aliexpress (5.7", 1080p with touch and ok speakers) so doing a quick tape-powered test with my OrangePi 5 Max. Still wild to me one can have a full-ass desktop experience like this. Distro's bredOS btw. Goofy name, but great option for non-RPi SBCs. #orangepi #linux

No this doesn't mean boards like the OrangePi RV2 will suddenly support Ubuntu, but it does mean all the packages that come pre-built for Ubuntu will becomr widely mirrored with security patches applied for RISC-V. 🎉

The OrangePi RV2 is the best RISC-V experience I've had to date.
I managed to get go-algorand compiled with very little effort and it's now running and synced to Mainnet. Is this the first RISC-V node on the Algorand network?
Although I probably wouldn't recommend participating from one just yet.
