His own son exposed him as a liar. The rituals were fake. The cosmic messages... nothing but smoke and mirrors. The Order of the Solar Temple should have fallen apart. But Joseph Di Mambro wouldn't let that happen. If he wasn't going to get what he wanted... nobody could. In Part 2, Corinne and Sabrina reveal how the collapse of OTS led to three waves of death across three years. When Joseph's illusions were exposed in 1990, he doubled down... telling followers the apocalypse was imminent and only the faithful would survive. On October 5th, 1994, fires erupted simultaneously in Switzerland and Quebec. 53 people dead, including 8 children. But the nightmare didn't end there. Over the next three years, two more waves of deaths followed. Former Olympic skiers. Policemen. A psychotherapist who claimed she'd made contact with Joseph from beyond. The final toll: 74 people dead across three countries. Eleven of them children. This is the devastating conclusion to the Order of the Solar Temple... and a warning about what happens when belief becomes weaponized. The Order of the Solar Temple didn’t end in belief — it ended in fire. In Part Two, we uncover how Joseph Di Mambro and Luc Jouret transformed a secretive spiritual movement into one of the most disturbing cult tragedies of the 20th century. As followers were warned of the coming apocalypse, members were told to prepare for “Transit” — a ritual departure from their physical bodies to ascend to the star Sirius. What followed was a chilling mix of coercive control, financial exploitation, staged supernatural visions, and escalating paranoia. As police investigations closed in and members began to leave, the leaders doubled down — orchestrating a series of events that would result in mass suicide and murder across Switzerland, Canada, and France.
