Little Zigzag Falls, Mount Hood National Forest, Oregon. A short hike through a magical forest leads to this lovely waterfall fed by the melt off Mount Hood's glaciers. Vertical image: white water flows down a steep drop, across a small level area, and then down a short drop before leveling off for good. To either side of the slightly winding creek are lush green forest. The falls are line with moss covered fallen trees and rocks. In the foreground, a set of submerged fallen branches curve up from the bottom, to take the eye to a moss-covered boulder in the lower right of the image that splits the white water into two streams - a large one to the left, and a smaller to the right.
