Well, I'm in Winter Garden, so it was honestly mostly OK for ME. Better than, say, ORMC.
But it definitely wasn't convenient for my father, and my mother's doctors were based in Celebration or downtown Orlando....so. Yeah.

As per the paramedics (who were excellent, by the way), ORMC, which specializes in heart issues, had a nine hour waiting period at that moment, thanks to a major car crash on I-4. Florida Hospital (Advent Health) was "redirecting" patients. And so on.

So if you tell me, hey, there's a cheap gynecologist taking patients out by ORMC - ok, that's awesome for people who can easily get to downtown Orlando.
For me, by the time I deal with transportation costs and other issues....this is less cheap.

One of my best July 4th memories: working in the ER at ORMC. We had one patient who became intoxicated and fell backwards into a fire pit. When I introduced myself he yelled at me "I JUST BBQ'ED MY ASS!" I couldnt help but step away and laugh.
