Sharks eating dinosaurs! At the charming National Museum in Prague.
Totally morbid paleoart. But based on one of the few Czech dinosaur fossils, an ornithopod bone crisscrossed with the razor blade bites of sharks.

Me: Oh, I'm just going to draw an ornithopod as a warm-up as if they don't have the dumbest anatomy.

For International #DinosaurDay, here is a large ornithopod track we collected during filming of Walking With Dinosaurs!

Though we can’t tell the species of dinosaur that made a given footprint, we know it was an ornithopod because of its three rounded toes.

Fossil crab trivia. There's a extinct crab, that tends to be associated with dinosaur bones, Dinocarcinus. It's considered to be the oldest freshwater crab on the record! It's holotype is preserved sitting on a ornithopod bone ✨🦀 Old dinosaur crab

Ripples surviving on the underside of a large ornithopod foot cast. #IsleofWight #FossilFriday. Perhaps a manus print overtrodden on the right of the track.

Think you know all of the dinosaurs? Think again…

There’s a brand new dinosaur species in town. Say hello to never-seen-before Enigmacursor mollyborthwickae 👋🏽

Articulated hindlimb of a small-bodied ornithopod dinosaur from the Cenomanian Griman Creek Formation of New South Wales, Australia
The mid-Cretaceous terrestrial deposits of southeastern Australia have yielded an unusual wealth of small-bodied ornithopod remains. Despite their numerical abundance, particularly from the Barremi...

Please welcome Cariocecus bocagei! A new, basal hadrosauroid from the early Cret. of Portugal! This guy is known from a pretty nice skull, which makes it one of the best ornithopod fossils from Iberia so far! I loved during this little portrait for main author Filippo Bertozzo...

Spiny little friend.

A quick doodle of Haolong dongi, a newly described ornithopod from China with... spikes. Numerous sharp spines grew from the animal's neck and back, seemingly different from all other known dinosaur integuments. Definitely wasn't on my bingo card for 2026 dinosaur finds!
